Do you recognize this as a management team?
Although the strategy has been defined, each member interprets it differently.
The strategy sounds good on paper, but it stalls in execution.
Meetings run smoothly, but implementation is stagnating.
Signals are lost.
Priorities clash.
For most management teams, this is no exception — it is the daily reality. These are not shortcomings of individual people. They are the symptoms of a team that has not yet found a common language.
Novy-T works with management teams that get bogged down in execution. Sometimes the strategy is clearly defined on paper, but the translation to the shop floor falters. More often, however, it turns out upon closer inspection that the strategy is not being interpreted unambiguously within the MT itself — each member has their own interpretation, without this ever having been made explicit. And sometimes the bottleneck starts even earlier: with a strategic course set by the Board or Management, but which has not fully reached the MT — or not in the way it was intended.
The first step is therefore always a clear baseline assessment. With the Change Profile scan, we map out the Executive and Management Team's position as a whole regarding the change: where the energy lies, where the resistance is, and where the blind spots are — including any differences in strategic understanding. This provides a concrete starting point. No assumptions, but facts.
From that foundation, we work on what is needed. Where the Board or Management and the Management Team are not aligned, we facilitate the dialogue necessary to jointly translate strategic choices into a shared course of action. Only when that alignment exists does execution make sense.
Through team coaching and development, we subsequently strengthen the collaboration, decision-making, and internal dynamics of the Management Team. Through guidance on strategy implementation, we help the Management Team align direction, communication, and execution — from the boardroom to the shop floor.
Change succeeds or fails because of the people who have to implement it. That is why we also train the employees directly involved in the change process. Through targeted, tailor-made training, we build the competencies needed not only to understand the change but also to truly embrace it—at every level of the organization.
Option for a first step
Management Team program with a duration of approx. 3-6 weeks
Baseline measurement with the Change Profile scan (two half-days)
Two to three work sessions focused on alignment, prioritization, and action design.
This is one of the ways Novy-T works with management teams. Each project begins with a conversation about the current situation — and what is needed. We provide advice based on experience in the field.
